Unified Comms, Contact Centre and Cyber Solutions provider, Babble, has announced a new three-year deal with Threshold Sports, the multi award-winning mass participation events agency, to be the official cloud partner of the iconic Ride Across Britain (RAB).
Babble will utilise the partnership to drive tangible positive social impact, as the leading cloud technology company seeks to support young people to achieve their goals. Over the course of the three-year deal, Babble has committed to raising in excess of £500,000 for The Prince’s Trust and The Buffalo Foundation.
The legendary cycling challenge takes 1,000 cyclists 970-miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats, showcasing Britain’s most breath-taking scenery over 9 days. This bucket list cycling challenge is a true test of stamina, attracting both intermediate and seasoned riders, who receive unrivalled support throughout. Over 25% of FTSE100 companies have been represented in the last three event years, with over 600 companies taking part.
Matt Parker, Chief Executive of Babble said: “Having completed Threshold’s Ride Across Britain six times, I’m looking forward to number seven in 2021. I personally know the huge challenge this is, as well as the sense of achievement crossing the finish line brings – this is something I want my team, clients and partners to experience too. At Babble, we want to be more than just a technology company, which is why it is so important for us to commit to raising funds for our charities. In doing so, we’re able to play a small part in young people gaining access to opportunities which will help them to experience that same incredible feeling of accomplishment.”
Nick Tuppen, CEO at Threshold Sports said: “The relationships forged on the bike over the 9-days of RAB last a lifetime. Matthew is a RAB alumni who has witnessed this first-hand over recent years and I have no doubt Babble’s existing and future clients are going to arrive in John O’Groats with their bonds with the Babble team stronger than ever. The fact that they are going to be raising much needed money for the Prince’s Trust along the way is characteristic of a company putting social purpose at the heart of everything they do.”
Babble now has five hubs across the UK – London, North-West, Midlands, North-East and the South Coast – with 200 staff located nationwide. The business supports over 3,500 organisations across a broad range of sectors – including financial, health and education, travel and accommodation, and public services – by sourcing, deploying and locally supporting the very best cloud solutions to deliver increased efficiency, customer engagement and profitability, whilst protecting customers’ businesses.
